**Duties specific to Jordan’s Principle Applications submitted by the Agency**:

- Assist with gathering necessary documentation such as consent forms, support letters, proof of eligibility
- Ensure that all required information is accurate and complete
- Provide support to staff to process, organize and track referrals
- Enter documentation into CPIN as necessary
- Complete and enter services into CPIN as necessary
- Communicate with Indigenous Services Canada as required to follow up on status of claims
- Update current Jordan’s Principle Claims in process and coordinate with appropriate staff to follow up on claims.

**General Administrative Duties**
- Type correspondence, reports, memos, recordings, minutes and various forms as required by staff;
- Service request preparation and completion;
- CPIN document scanning and uploading;
- Drive request inputting;
- Reception back-up as necessary;
- To commission legal documents as required;
- To provide all access and permissible disclosures in accordance with Part X of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act and agency policy and procedure;
- To receive and respond to all personal information requests regarding information in the custody of the Agency;
- To provide the personal information in a manner that is consistent with the legislative and regulatory requirements, CPIN business harmonization and the Agency’s strategic directions;
- To attend and participate in Unit meetings, staff meetings, in-service training sessions and other meetings are requested by the Manager of Finance and Administration;
- Other duties as assigned.

(c) **Qualifications**:

- Secondary school graduation diploma.
- Extensive knowledge of the Agency information systems including CPIN;
- Extensive knowledge of Part X of the CYFSA and Agency policies and procedures including any policies related to personal information;
- A working knowledge of an Act respecting First Nation, Inuit and Metis Children, Youth and Families and Jordan’s Principle Applications
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other CAS specific software.
- Accurate/fast/efficient typing skills with exceptional attention to details.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work co-operatively with, support, and assist staff in the performance of their duties;
- Good communication skills and the ability to relate effectively to people;
Preference will be given to persons with extensive experience working with other cultural and/or 2SLGBTQ+ communities, and/or possess lived experience within these communities.
