**Position: Part Time Temporary Security Guard**

**Site: 174 Main Street**

**City: Port Stanley, Ontario**

**Status: Part Time Temporary**

**Hours: Friday & Saturday 1900-0700**

**Start Date: July 14, 2023**

**Duration: 8 - 10 weeks**

**Position Overview**:
Paladin Security has acquired a new temporary part time opportunity at Dean Construction Co. for its construction project in Port Stanley, Ontario. Guards will work outdoors in their vehicle to provide a deterrent to theft of building materials.

This position will be responsible for ensuring only authorized employees, clients, and visitors are permitted entry to the client’s location.

Duties include but are not limited to Access Control, Conduct Security Patrols, and Respond to Emergency Situations.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Be courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer service.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
- Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
- Write clear, concise, and legible reports.
- Communicates any concerns/issues with Operations Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act.
