Kitchen Assistant

Prep cook

The team at FIELD & SOCIAL is passionate, funand real. We are looking for strong kitchen staff to join the team. If you have plenty of enthusiasm and enjoy working with food, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Following the prep list created by Kitchen Lead to plan duties
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
- Assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking as directed
- Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly

**Requirements**:

- Able to work and manage team in a fast-paced work environment
- Team player
- Highly organized
- Valid Work Permit
- BC Vaccine Card

Working Conditions
- Standing for long period of time
- Lifting up to 40lbs
