**Desired experience for part time art class instructor/facilitator includes**:

- Oversee art program and classes for all ages
- Facilitate and implement art programs and curriculums
- Oversee schedules of classes, maintain class schedule and registration
- Create and design projects appropriate for age groups & skill levels
- Instruct classes with an organized and fun approach
- Maintain a clean and safe work space including keeping the studio clean and organized
- Maintain a safe work environment for students
- Open and close store front
- Travel to locations for art programs if needed

**Knowledge and skills for part time art class instructor/facilitator includes**:

- Art teaching experience preferred but not mandatory
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a vulnerable sectors check
- Must be organized and able to maintain clean work environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity, self-expression, and collaboration
- Must be able to work with groups of young children and persons with disabilities
- Must be able to create and implement clear schedule and curriculums
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to transport supplies for classes
- Must be able to maintain registration forms and documents in an organized manner

**Working conditions for part time art class instructor/facilitator includes**:

- Wage range: $15 with potential to grow, incentives
- Program assistant & facilitating
- Day time and evening classes
- Minimum 10 hours a week, days/evenings/weekends
- Working with young children, teens, adults, seniors and persons with disabilities
- Working in classroom environment, indoors
- Travel required to some locations up to one hour drive

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Spruce Grove, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
