Instructor - Industrial Safety Training

About the Organization:

NWT SAFETY SUPPLIES is Edmonton's "One Stop Shop" for industrial safety training and occupational health, safety, and hygiene services to thousands of clients a year throughout Alberta.

We are examining present and future expansion opportunities, and are seeking CERTIFIED, qualified instructors.

Description:

Courses we teach include:

H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space Rescue, Ground Disturbance, Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space Entry, and many more.


Position Requirements:

Applicants should have prior industrial safety training experience, specifically, teaching in training classrooms. An education background may also be an asset to applicants.

  • Energy Safety Canada
    H2S Alive:
  • Asbestos Abatement
  • Global Ground Disturbance Training Program
  • Saint John Ambulance Standard First Aid
  • Energy Safety Canada certified industrial training programs: Fire Watch, Confined Space Entry Monitor, Elevated Work Platform, Fall Protection.
  • Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORMs)
We are considering for both long-term permanent positions, and contract position. Full-time permanent with hours being 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as customer demand requires.

Travel is anticipated to be 15% seasonally. Regular scheduling at our Spruce Grove office, can be anticipated. This is a salaried position. Health and dental benefits are available.
