**Job Purpose**:
The Business Analyst Specialist within the Operations Technology Finance Team will support primarily IS&C (Information Security Control) or other Technology Finance Operations portfolios with financial planning, reporting, and processing of expenses, along with day-to-day contract and vendor management operations ensuring governance, local regulations and internal policies and procedures are adhered.

- Financial Management (contractual invoice tracking, finance reporting). Providing business support with transparency of financial results explaining key components of the technology expenditures.
- Data Support (Document repository creation, maintenance, analysis, and dashboard creation). Maintaining and oversight of data analysis ensuring accuracy of transactional expenditures with alignment of accounting policies and procedures.
- Vendor Management (procurement, contract management, & vendor monitoring/audit). Enhanced knowledge of SmartBuy/Coupa/CMS/Fieldglass systems providing support to acquired services initiated by the business and key stakeholders within the bank.
- Responsible with maintaining primarily IS&C or other Technology Finance Operations portfolios with financial analytics and reporting. Monitoring continual activity within the business providing transparency and opportunities of benefits & savings. Assisting business lines and Vendor Management Offices (VMOs) with the creation, review, and analysis of vendor contracts within IS&C or other Technology Finance Operations portfolios and other Technology Finance areas. Review and update various databases with contract information as well as develop dashboards for key decision makers.
- Closely engaged with IS&C or other portfolio Business Owners for opportunities of benefits and savings, while delivering other duties outside of regular day to day responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining of accrual processes, Forecasting, Invoicing, Contract Renewals, Purchase Orders, Deferrals, Ledger reconciliations, Budget Planning
- Contribution to user-friendly Power BI dashboards, Excel/SharePoint databases, and procurement trackers (single pane financial views).
- Liaison with suppliers, Vendor Management Offices (VMOs), and business lines to manage contract lifecycle and ensure Bank processes are followed.
- Raise and manage ServiceNow request tickets to process invoice approvals and payments and to purchase hardware and software products.
- Summarize large volumes of data into meaningful insights via process workflow maps and executive presentations.
- Understands the Bank’s IT strategy and digital culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

**Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have**:

- A recognized undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent qualification/experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on business analysis, data, or procurement work experience.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (particularly Excel and Power Point, Visio); and financial reporting software working knowledge of Power BI is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to succinctly distill information.
- Self-driven, highly energetic and team player attitude
- Able to meet tight deadlines and flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed, often on short notice
- Experience in Allocation of Cost within multiple business lines and definition of Drivers is an asset.
- Analytical mind with a critical thinking, able to juggle multiple competing priorities with attention to detail. You are a self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills able to pivot with changing priorities during constrained timelines.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with colleagues and internal/external customers.
- CPA, CMA Designation is an asset. Business Administration
- MBA or other business-related designation is an asset.
- Technology industry knowledge
- General knowledge of Accounting Principle and Procedures and taxation regulations in Latin-American Countries.
