_Forbo Siegling Canada Corporation is a leading manufacturer of high-quality conveyor and power transmission belting, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, well organized Branch Manager at our branch location in Mississauga, ON Canada. _
- Purpose of the Job entails directing the activities of the Fabrication Department to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with delivery schedules and quality standards. Oversee Customer Service and Field Service operations. Also responsible for Quality and Inventory Control._
- Position include, but are not limited to the following essential functions: _
- _Oversee personnel in the completion of all department work; ensure orders and installs are completed as scheduled._
- _Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment; maintain time and production records._
- _Interpret specifications and job orders to workers and assign duties; establish and/or adjust work procedures as necessary._
- _Analyze and resolve work problems; recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product._
- _Responsible for Customer Service; sales support, and proper inventory levels._
- _Effectively lead and motivate supervisors and employees; maintain positive employee relations._
- _Maintain and increase knowledge of fabrication processes and related equipment._
- _Follow and enforce safety procedures at all times to prevent injuries and to avoid damage to company property._
- _Effectively communicate and cooperate with superiors, peers and subordinates to achieve company goals and objectives._
- _Regular and predictable attendance._
- Requirements include the following: _
- _Bachelor’s Degree; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience_
- _Prior experience with managing a fabrication department_
- _Customer service background helpful_
- _Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and effectively supervise/oversee numerous departmental team members_
- _Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills_
- _Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, Word Excel, PPT & SAP) Prefeerred_
