Part Time Landscaper

Do you like being outside with a team of fun people? Are you physically fit, love the great outdoors and want to learn about plants and sustainable landscapes? Hawthorn Landscape Design is a great team environment, we work hard and we appreciate good humour and a tail gate on Friday afternoons. Prior experience is not necessary but is an asset. A keen eye for detail and skills in plant identification, including annuals, perennials, weeds and shrubs is also an asset. A positive attitude is essential.

Duties include:

- Garden bed maintenance includes weeding, cultivating, raking, edging, deadheading, pruning.
- Installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, bulbs and annual bedding plants in residential gardens.
- Shrub and hedge trimming.
- Lawn mowing, string trimming, edging.
- Installation of stone pathways and retaining walls.
- Plant habitat restoration in forested and riparian areas.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-30 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brackendale, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- landscaping: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Driver license (preferred)
