**JOB SUMMARY**:
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Comply and enforce Occupational Health and Safety standards and practices.
- Perform general clean-up of all facilities.
- Sweep, mop, floors, dump garbage and recycle bins.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery as required.
- Perform regular property inspections of common areas, building exteriors, and landscape.
- Ensure effective management of maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, ventilation, heating, cooling and other daily activities.
- Provide general status reports as necessary.
- Collect and dispose of all garbage and recyclables.
- Ensure 24/7 availability of emergency services.
- Perform minor repairs on windows, doors, switches, desks, tables, plugs, equipment, appliances, sinks, toilets, blinds etc.
- Maintain working knowledge of environmental safeguards and alarm systems.
- Maintain outside grounds (remove snow, ice, and debris, spray and remove weeds, sweep, and clean gutters, water and maintain sprinkling systems).
- Determine needed supplies and equipment.
- Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Detect faulty operations or material and report those and any unusual situations to supervisor.
- Set priorities for preventative maintenance work orders, maintenance requisitions and other scheduled work.
- Prepare, paint, and decorate interior and exterior surfaces, as required.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Pre-load fuel trucks, as required
- Other related duties as required or assigned.

**EXPEREINCE**:
1+ years’ experience in a previous labour role
