The Media Buying, Performance and Optimization team is committed to enhancing government marketing by bringing new technologies and tools in-house to better plan and deliver campaigns and strategies. We are looking for a financial professional to join our creative and collaborative team as a Finance Specialist

The Ministry:

The Division and Branch:
The Marketing, Enterprise Services and Insights Division is our new, integrated enterprise service delivery and capacity building division. The division provides strategic, enterprise-wide marketing services and capacity building that will support continuous improvement activities and improve performance throughout the Communications community.
**The Marketing and Digital Strategy** (MADS) branch in Cabinet Office Communications is a full-service, one-window partner for all marketing and communications needs. The branch offers complete end-to-end service, from marketing support and copywriting, to video, photo and design services, as well as content and web support for Ontario.ca.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**:

- Provide financial administration, analysis, monitoring, and reporting services related to Media Buying Performance and Optimization (MBPO) budgets/expenditures.
- Assist with branch finance initiatives (i.e.: forecasting, cost avoidance calculations, reconciliation).
- Manage and maintain a wide variety of trackers, reports, and documents relating to budgets & reconciliations, invoicing, forecasting & modelling, and special projects related to expenditures.
- Track and analyze fiscal financial trends to identify risks to invoicing/credit/purchasing
- Assist in development of Cabinet submissions to support business cases for new programs/initiatives
