We are seeking a talented and experienced litigation lawyer to join our team. As a key member of Carruthers Law, you will handle a diverse caseload encompassing civil litigation, estate litigation, and legal malpractice matters.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage a caseload of civil litigation, estate litigation, and legal malpractice cases from start to finish by:

- Conducting thorough legal research and analysis
- Providing strategic advice and counsel to clients
- Resolving claims and disputes to avoid litigation where possible
- Representing clients in trials, hearings, mediations and negotiations

**Requirements**:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Alberta
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on civil litigation, estate litigation, or legal malpractice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Emotional Intelligence
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment
- Exemplary client communications and relations as shown in excellent Google Reviews

**Preferred Skills**:

- Trial experience
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
