**The Opportunity**
Reporting to branch and project management, the Swamper is responsible for assisting operators of various vacuum truck equipment in a efficient & safe manor. Starting wage is dependent on experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Attends daily safety meetings and ensures all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner;
- Fitness for Duty
- Assists with swamping, staging, & spotting of units
- Assist with pre-mobilization rig up of equipment
- Communicates with supervisors throughout the day;
- Assists with roadside repairs.
**What does it take to work for Avenge Energy Services?**
- Minimum of three (3) year working alongside the following units: Hydrovac's, Combo's, other Vac Trucks, High Pressure Water Jetting Trucks.
- Minimum of three (3) year Oil & Gas Sites, Pipeline work experience;
- Above average computer and smart phone safety app experience
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.
- On call, night shifts, weekends, holidays and over-time are a requirement.

**What we need from you?**
- Class 5 Driver License (required)
- First Aid Level C (required)
- H2S Alive Certification (required)
- Fall Protection Certification (preferred)
- Confined Space Certification (preferred)
- Ground Disturbance 201 Certification (required)
- Pipeline Construction Safety Training (PCST) Certification (required)
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO) Certification (preferred)
- CSTS2020 Certification (preferred)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to pass company and client drug and alcohol testing protocol
We assist with obtaining pre-requisite industry certificates.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70 - 84 per week
