**Shifts: Days**

**Rate of Pay: $23.40 - $29.26 per hour**

Reporting to the Associate Administrator - Hogarth Riverview Manor, the Education Support Assistant works collaboratively with the Coordinator - Learning Success to coordinate the student placement program for Seniors' Health. Key responsibilities include: welcoming and recognizing new learners to SJCG, promoting placement and employment opportunities and supporting the Associate Administrator - Hogarth Riverview Manor and the Administrator - Bethammi Nursing Home.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Diploma or degree in human resources, business administration, education or related field
- Experience in coordination of projects

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Superior ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Superior ability to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with agencies, academic institution officials, students, and co-workers
- Strong project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and various forms of software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:
Ability to travel to various work locations as required and provide own transportation
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
