**Position Description**:
We are looking for a summer student to join the Newborn Screening Program at the Hospital for Sick Children As a summer student, you will be assisting the administrative staff to organize and complete patient's electronic health records.

**Here's What You'll Get To Do**
- Review and examine patient health care record data
- Accurately enter patient data related to newborn screening into the electronic health record
- Create and review a data set of newborn screening patients
- Review and examine Newborn Screening Database reports for completion
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

**Here's What You'll Need**
- Post-secondary student
- Basic proficiency with computers (i.e. MS Office Suite, Outlook, MS Word)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities and efficient time management
- Ability to be self-directed, to be flexible and to take initiative
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry
- Prior experience with Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus but not required
- A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion

**Employment Type**:Temporary Full-Time, No Benefits (6 Week Contract)
