Distribution Center Manager

Vaughan, Canada DEEPSEA SHIPPING INC. Full time

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the distribution operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution processes and improve overall efficiency
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as sales and production, to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to manage transportation and warehousing activities
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and order fulfillment
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate distribution performance and identify areas for improvement
- Lead a team of distribution staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational efficiencies
- Experience working with AS400 or other inventory management systems
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order fulfillment processes
- Demonstrated ability in team management, including coaching and development of staff
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred

**Salary**: $4,700.00-$5,500.00 per month
