**Overview**

The **Finished Product Technician (FPT) **plays a vital role in the _Quality Control_ function at Amhil, ensuring the production output meets the required specifications and Quality standards that Amhil is known for.

**Shifts**: 12 hour Continental (7 to 7), 2 week rotation

**Safety First**

- Wear prescribed PPE when performing all jobs.
- Be aware of hazards associated with each task.
- Report and communicate any unsafe practices, working conditions, any hazard or potential hazard encountered to your Supervisor and team members.

**What will you do**
- The FPT ensures that the finished product is handled, packaged and prepared according to procedure and in the event of any deviation work to amend the situation and keep the line running which producing top quality product.
- Collect and retain samples of materials and finished products.
- Conduct the visual inspection and dimensional measurements of finished products.
- Record measurements and/or observations into data collection software.
- Maintain detailed record of events which may affect product quality.
- Inform the Process Technicians, Supervisor and/or plant management immediately of any defects or outstanding issues.
- Disposition of finished product according to Amhil’s quality standards.
- Ensure that the correct packaging is used for each product, and that the packaging meets Amhil’s quality standards.
- Ensure that finished product is palletized correctly.
- Ensure that finished product is correctly labeled with license plates and date codes to establish traceability.
- Clear the lines of finished product and packaging during changeovers, and for prepare unused packaging to be transferred to the warehouse.
- Maintain personal and working sanitation standards in all aspects of assigned tasks.
- Uphold Amhil’s food safety standards and follow all SQF procedures to prevent product contamination.
- Ensure working area is kept clean, orderly and safe.
- Assist with the housekeeping and the sanitation around the plant when requested.
- Assist with removing scrap product and/or sheet from the line and grind when time allows.
- Assist in the relief of other team members and temporary associates for breaks/ lunch.
- Maintain work standards for Temporary Employees.

- Able to multi-task and stay on top of competing priorities.
- Must be willing to work in areas of extreme heat and humidity.
- Must be willing to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Required to work in areas with high noise levels and dust.

**Also nice to have**
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with Amhil products.
