As we continue to expand our product line, we are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Product Development Assistant with strong Excel and administrative skills, to join our dynamic team, bringing our fashion accessories designs from concept to production. This will be a supporting role for the Product Development Coordinator in day-to day-tasks, and administrative duties to ensure product development stays on track.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the coordination and execution of product development activities from concept to production, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Communicate with our overseas teams and partners to ensure product development information is communicated quickly and efficiently, and that deadlines are adhered to
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and production schedules
- Create and maintain product development library, including tech packs, sample requests, production specifications and keep samples organized.
- Send out and track samples to/from our overseas and retail partners.
- Assist in sample review and approval process, providing feedback to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with the design team to source materials, trims, and hardware for new product designs.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging styles, materials, and techniques.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure smooth execution of product development processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or related field.
- Interest in product development in the fashion accessories industry.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with an exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Adobe Creative Suite an asset, but not mandatory); strong Excel capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends and details.

**Salary**: $37,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
