Sturgeon Public Schools is seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our dynamic Communications Department. As a Graphic Design Intern you will have the opportunity to work on various design projects, support the development of visual content, and contribute to enhancing the overall visual identity of our School Division. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in graphic design while making a positive impact in the field of education.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Communications Department to create visually appealing designs for a variety of digital and print materials, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, presentations, and signage
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the district's visual identity, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
- Collaborate with the Communications team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other team activities to contribute ideas and insights to ongoing projects
- Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other design tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

This is a full-time internship position with an expected duration of 8 weeks. The intern will work 35 hours per week. Compensation will be provided in the form of an hourly wage of $20/hour as per the General Employment Conditions.
