Personal Support Worker

Looking for a female support worker who is patient, caring, and kind. Support would be with one individual for 6 hours each week to assist with appointments, errands, and community outings. It would also be beneficial for the support worker to feel comfortable fitting in with a group of friends for social gatherings.

Qualifications:

- The ability to be reliable and punctual
- Experience in support work/working with people with disabilities (preferred)
- Knowledge/training on doing transfers with overhead ceiling track lifts (preferred)
- Good communication skills and a friendly personality
- Capable/comfortable with doing makeup and hair as directed by client
- Able to follow instructions

**Requirements**:

- Willing to work flexible hours (6 hours per week with the same individual)
- Resume
- Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search issued by Winnipeg Police
- Child Abuse Registry Check
- Adult Abuse Registry Check

Hourly rate: $15.50 ($16.50 to start if additional training taken through agency)
