**Job Overview**:
The Accounting Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. The individual will work closely with accounting, sales, operations, and other members of the team and must be exceptionally detail and process oriented with a strong foundation in accounting administration.

**Reports to**: Finance Officer

**Location**: Lively, ON

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Verify, analyze, and record accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with great attention to detail.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer statements and vendor statements.
- Contact customers and issue reminders to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in providing information to Finance for invoicing and collecting receivables in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized document files.
- Report accounts payable and receivable status.
- Process bank deposits when necessary.
- Manage Administration Office mail and distribution.
- Perform other record-keeping tasks and duties as required.

**Education/ Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in Business Administration or Commerce is preferred.
- Previous experience with accounting administration is an asset.
- Must be friendly, personable, and able to build harmonious working relationships with clients and coworkers.
- Knowledgeable and proficient computer skills with practical experience in the Microsoft suite of programs and knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Must have impeccable attention to detail, adaptability, and be extremely organized.
- Must be fluent in English, both oral and written. French speaking is considered an asset.
- Demonstrable skills in organization, problem solving, flexibility, ability to multi-task, and self-direction.

**Working Schedule and Environment**:

- Full-time.
- The Accounting Administrator works in an office environment.
