Kawartha Orthodontics is looking for a passionate and energetic Treatment Coordinator Assistant to join our well-established practice in Peterborough, Ontario.
**About the role**:
The Treatment Coordinator Assistant is responsible for assisting the Treatment Coordinators and Orthodontists in the delivery of new patient care. Including clinical assisting, record taking, treatment documentation, sterilization procedures, patient education and motivation, practice promotion, laboratory, and other miscellaneous duties.

**What you will be doing - key responsibilities**:

- Greet new patients, reviewing medical history and giving them a brief office tour.
- Build a solid relationship with patients, family members, and co-workers to ensure the targeted outcome is achieved.
- Always demonstrate interests in patients, engage them in conversation, and do anything necessary to ensure that patients, parents, and families have a positive and unique experience.
- Assist the Treatment Coordinator /clinic assistants in taking records. (pan,ceph, photos).
- Assist the Treatment Coordinator/clinic assistants in updating any photos or x rays for patients.
- Help the clinic assistants upload their photos.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene motivating them to follow care protocols.
- Sterilize instruments and disinfect treatment areas and equipment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Doctor and Practice Manager.

**What you bring - qualifications**:

- Dental or Ortho office experience considered an asset.
- Previous experience working in professional sales considered an asset.
- Good with computers, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements preferred.
- Certified Dental Assistant an asset.
