Roadtrek Inc. is currently recruiting for **R & D Prototype Development Technician **to join their team. Primary role will be to coordinate and implement prototype builds. This full-time position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

**Responsibilities May Include**:

- Hands on fabrication and assembly of prototypes
- Creating engineering drawings in SolidWorks
- Custom construction of wood cabinets and installation into vehicle chassis
- Establishing water line routing and propane lines
- Establishing wiring harness routing and connections
- Connecting and installing plumbing pipes, tubes and plumbing fixtures such as faucets, showerheads etc.,
- Installing heating and cooling systems
- Fitting headliners to the ceiling of the Motorhome
- Install wall panels and lighting systems throughout the Motorhome.
- Installing insulation and urethane foam

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- College diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
- Electrical Engineering Diploma or Degree
- 3 to 5 years work experience within a manufacturing setting
- Mechanically inclined with good math skills
- Experience using power & hand tools is an asset
- Excellent manual dexterity and an eye for detail
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as necessary
- Maintain a safe and tidy work area
- Perform other job-related duties as directed by Supervisor in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Work effectively with other members of the R & D team to meet product development timelines
