**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Quality inspection with a variety of gauges.
- Sample preparation for measuring
- Experience using Minitab to compile on going CPK, SPC trends and data.
- Able to interpret and understand drawings and specifications.
- Maintain gauge calibration and gauge R&R’s requirements using GageTrak.
- Participate and lead containment efforts to ensure that known quality risks are under control.
- Participate in the Corrective Action Process.
- Support overall quality control strategy by assisting in the creation or revision of quality inspection plans, inspection standards and procedures.
- Assist with sorting and auditing as needed.
- Proficiency user in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to understand instructions and self manage completion of tasks.
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written content
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to help improve processes.
- Able to follow all company safety rules and procedures.
- Keep a clean work area through good housekeeping practices.

**Required**:

- 2 - 3-year College graduate in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in working with micrometers, calipers, surface tester, dial indicators, optical comparators, quick scope, tensile tester, Jomesa for inspection tools.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Organized, detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, Team player, eagerness to learn new skills, and self-motivated.
- Collect and analyze data to ensure product quality meets specifications
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products
- Identify and document any quality issues or non-conformities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Fabricate test samples or prototypes as needed for analysis
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and results

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Knowledge of quality control principles and methodologies
- Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment
- Familiarity with fabricating test samples or prototypes for analysis

**Skills**:

- Data collection: Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data to evaluate product quality
- Fabricate: Capable of creating test samples or prototypes for analysis purposes
- Analyze: Skilled at interpreting data and identifying trends to assess product quality
