**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
This is a full-time position available for a Project Coordinator at our Vancouver location starting immediately in a high paced, professional work environment. You will work closely with the Technical Manager, Operations Manager and Sales Manager as well as other team members such as the onsite crew and venue providers. You are responsible to plan, manage and coordinate all aspects of the contracted technical component of a wide range of events including meetings, conferences, special events and trade shows and are expected to deliver outstanding results. You are required to take ownership of multiple events, which include small to large-scale programs. You are the primary contact with the client leading up to the event and on site. You will provide customer service and efficient communication to clients for all required operations of the technical design and implementation, on-site event production and reporting.

**RESPONSIBILITIES (but are not limited to)**:

- Implement policies, procedures, and organizational structure for assigned production support unit within the framework of Clark’s corporate policy.
- Assist in the establishing of short-term and long-term team / equipment for events to which you’ve been appointed PM.
- Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work unit activities through subordinate managers to ensure a cohesive delivery of equipment and services pre/during & post event as determined by Clark’s standard.
- Provide support and advice in regards to projects from a senior technical, financial and resource standpoint.
- Responsible for developing an effective field force including support labour, production support, audio/video foremen in conjunction with the general superintendent as well as additional project managers and superintendents as required.
- Provide advice, guidance, and direction to subordinate executives and managers toward their conduct and delivery in accordance with Clark’s acceptable standards.
- Assisting operations department in regards to availability and flow of personnel as well as interviewing potential staff, motivating and assigning teams to projects.
- Coordinate and confer with Clark’s management and support staff to resolve operating problems and difficulties, and determine resolution options and procedures within corporate framework.  Serve as management team member.
- In conjunction with the other project managers and support staff, responsible for maintaining good working relationships and promoting good public relations with support staff, clients and Clark’s management.
- Report weekly or as frequently as required to Clark’s management progress or challenges associated to upcoming new projects.
- Distribute weekly required support labour schedule / calendar to Clark’s operation managers & support staff as necessary.
- Monitor the work of quality control technicians report any behavioral issues or failure to perform requested duties to Clark’s management as it impacts your individual projects.
- Assist in preparation of equipment necessary for upcoming events, as well as.
- Providing information on any equipment shortages, or recommendations in regards to new equipment purchases to Clark’s purchasing department.

**OPERATIONAL LEVEL FUNCTIONS**:

- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills a necessity. Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences.
- Work closely with the Client to understand and interpret production objectives and requirements.
- Maintain consistent and positive communication with clients, client staff, attendees, speakers and venue staff via internet, phone and in person.
- Coordinate pre and post event planning and execution to include site visits, pre-cons/pre-event meetings, post event wrap up.
- Request from the Client or develop a Running Script.
- Develop and ensure adherence to the project timeline and budget.
