**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervise and direct show builds and dismantling, offer advisory support through site-visits, meetings & wrap-up
- Operate equipment during shows
- Consult with Sales, Operations, project managers & clients to determine event requirements and labor expectations
- Learn basic Vectorworks "Spotlight" functions
- Possess excellent organizational, leadership, communication & analytical skills
- Able to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, attendees, speakers, venue staff & external cross rental companies through various channels
- Develop and ensure adherence to service department procedures, timelines & budgets.
- Track and report repair records, technical inventories & other paperwork

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Minimum 1-2 years working as an Audio-Visual Technician**:

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Highly organized & detail oriented
- Demonstrates high integrity
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Must be proficient with the following software:

- Flex
- Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
- Vectorworks “Spotlight” 2013 (or newer)
- If unfamiliar with any of the above programs, training can be provided._

**JOB TYPES**:_**FULL-TIME, 3 MONTH CONTRACT**_

**SCHEDULE**:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**EDUCATION**:

- Post secondary required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
