SALARY: $37,500 for 6 month contract

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring the execution of receiving, picking and shipment processes according to defined standards and targets
- Improving operations by identifying opportunities and proposing solutions utilizing management system tools and methodologies to ensure KPIs and targets are achieved or exceeded
- Ensuring that all liquor board & direct delivery orders are prepared and shipped on time
- Executing health and safety programs and enforcing critical aspects of safety and quality within the warehouse as well the entire Turning Point facility.
- Participating in task forces for improvement in quality, safety efficiency etc.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse operations
- Processing receiving documents for all inbound shipments in SAP
- Processing sample orders, repack transactions, as well as product holds in SAP
- Creating MDFs and BOLs as required
- Managing products/materials that are shipped to/from third party facilities for storage, repack, disposal, etc.
- Monitoring production plans and inventories, and communicating material shortages to the production team
- Updating inventory, production, repack, sales, and KPI trackers as required
- Assisting in the management of finished goods and packaging inventories (monthly reconciliation and daily transactions in SAP)
- Approving hourly employee payroll as required
- Ordering materials for the warehouse and arranging forklift/electric pallet jack service/maintenance
- Training and coaching workforce where required; delegating work load to staff
- Covering additional duties as required due to absences.
- All other duties as assigned by Warehouse Department Manager
- Other duties as assigned by Brewery Manager
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 education or equivalent (proof required). Post-secondary education considered an asset.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts if necessary
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude; knowledge of packaging equipment an asset
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Exceptional work, discipline and attendance record
- Ability to follow health and safety rules and procedures
- Ability to supervise a Team
- Fork-lift experience
- Willingness to learn supply chain related computer programs (SAP)
