We are looking for the next member of our Litigation and Regulatory Investigations team. If you are a resourceful and motivated person wishing to work in a wide range of stimulating legal mandates within a friendly and collegial team, we are waiting for you. This position reports to the Vice president Litigation and regulatory investigations - Legal Affairs, NBF, Financial Markets and Wealth Management (National Bank Financial).

**Main Challenges**

Work on complex and strategic files that significantly impact Financial Markets and Wealth Management business line activities and operations

Manage litigations and regulatory investigations in the securities industry, in collaboration with team members and business partners of the organization

Serve as an advisor to management and business lines by identifying and assessing their needs and proposing adopted solutions requiring legal expertise

Work with internal and external legal advisors to elaborate legal and strategic positions for business lines in various files within Canada and abroad

Work with various stakeholders and regulators, such as the new SRO (ex
- Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC)), the Autorité des marchés financiers, other provincial securities commissions and the Montréal Exchange (MX)

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Law and member of the Barreau du Québec
- Between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience, including in civil/commercial litigation
- Interest in finance/securities and want to learn more about these topics
- Autonomy, curiosity, sense of initiative, meticulousness and diligence
- Excellent analytical skills and sound judgment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good team spirit
- Ability to manage diverse priorities
- French/English bilingualism necessary because you will regularly deal with partners located across Canada
