Joining our legal department, you will contribute to the establishment of a dynamic and innovative legal department. You will be at the heart of our success and play a role in shaping our future.
Our future colleague will be responsible for all matters related to privacy, litigation, and labor law. This individual will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts, both with suppliers, customers and any other.
Possessing an outstanding client-focused approach and a specific interest in governance, this team member will share and embrace the values of collaboration and teamwork.
The opportunities and challenges that await you- Provide guidance to the Human Capital Department regarding employment and health and safety laws and regulations.- Research and provide legal opinions on a variety of issues related to the business;- Draft and review contracts with suppliers and customers worldwide;- Interact with and providing guidance to the sales and finance departments with respect to third-party agreements;- Take a leadership position with respect to managing litigation issues arising from employment law and general commercial cases, in collaboration with external counsel.- Provide legal advice and guidance on privacy-related matters to internal stakeholders;- Conduct legal assessments of data processing activities;- Support various departments in completing data processing activity assessments and implementing required controls;- Assist with training development, templates and other educational resources- Prepare and maintain internal reports on the privacy office's activities;- Draft various legal documents including policies, procedures and other documents in various areas.-
- Support and provide counsel in all international expansion strategies and projects.
What do you need to be successful?- 3-5 years of experience as in-house counsel or in a major law firm in litigation, employment law and privacy;- Privacy certifications are an asset;- Demonstrated knowledge of privacy (2 years) and employment law (2 years);- Good understanding of contract law: reviewing and drafting supplier and customer contracts.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;- Motivated and dynamic;- Strong work ethic, creative thinker, and a self-starter;- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects;- Demonstrated ability to interpret, analyze, summarize, and report on legal documents.
