Skyline Group is a Canadian company that manufactures and sells roof safety and access systems such as permanent ladders, guardrails, and walkway systems to clients throughout Canada.

Located in our Head Office in Perth, ON we are seeking an IT Administrator to manage and maintain Skyline's technology, systems, and information security.

**Position Responsibilities**:
Equipment
- Maintain an inventory and tracking of all company computers, printers, or other hardware, accessories, technology, and phones, ensuring a backup is readily available in the event of an equipment malfunction.
- Ensure all equipment is secured and maintained according to company policies and procedures as well as manufacturer/vendor recommendations.
- Source and negotiate agreements with vendors to ensure competitive pricing is obtained.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues as reported, repairing, or replacing damaged hardware as necessary.

IT Technology Support
- Develop and manage a ticket queue for responding to IT requests from employees including a Tier system for triaging requests.
- Trouble-shoot any technology issues reported, escalate Tier 3 requests to third-party supplier for resolution.
- Engage & direct managed service providers for third party IT support.

Onboarding and Employee Terminations
- Receive and process New Employee IT Checklists by ensuring that new employees are provided with information technology tools, hardware, and access prior to their start date as requested by HR or the hiring manager.
- Set up new employee workstations with computers and necessary devices or equipment.
- Provide HR with completed and signed copies of New Hire IT Checklists for employee files.
- Backup data and decommission employee accounts in a timely manner.

Programming and Networking
- Understand all company systems including Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM and how they are integrated together.
- Complete configuration changes as requested by managers to facilitate the business workflow. Where necessary engage and manage a third party to complete these changes.
- Troubleshoot and repair integrations when required.
- Ensure the company’s computer software and network systems are updated regularly.
- Installing and configuring necessary software or updates according to specifications.
- Developing and maintaining local networks and backups to optimize productivity and performance.
- Manage contracts for internet access at multiple locations.
- Manage company phone system including auto attendants, call routing, etc.

Security
- Assess the company’s information systems from a security perspective, identify gaps to be addressed, and ensure security and privacy measures are in place.
- Monitoring security certificates and ensuring the company’s compliance with certificate requirements.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- system administration: 3 years (preferred)
