Reports to: Project Manager & Operations Manager

The Site Foreman is a crucial leadership role responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring the

efficient and safe execution of projects. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage resources effectively.

A back ground in Demolition & Concrete Cutting is a definite asset.

This is a hands on working foreman position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Leadership
- Assume overall responsibility for the successful completion of projects.
- Lead and manage the site team, including subcontractors, ensuring coordination and collaboration.
- Serve as the main point of contact on-site for the Prime Contractor Superintendent.
- Project Planning
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with 204 Demolition Project Manager to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
- Maintain project records, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
- Safety Compliance
- Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and inspections.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.
- Quality Assurance
- Monitor construction activities to ensure work meets project specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections as needed.
- Address quality issues and deviations promptly.
- Resource Management
- Manage labour, equipment, and materials efficiently to optimize project productivity.
- Coordinate deliveries and manage the inventory of construction materials.
- Schedule equipment maintenance and repairs as necessary.
- Problem Solving o Identify project-related issues and challenges and work proactively to find solutions.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and stakeholders to resolve any project delays or roadblocks.
- **Communication**:

- **Maintain clear and effective communication with the project team, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.**:

- **Keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, changes, and updates.**:

- **Document all relevant project-related information.**:

- Training and Development
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to site personnel. o Identify opportunities for skill development and training within the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications**:Previous experience in a site foreman or construction leadership role is preferred. ** Strong knowledge of construction techniques, processes, and safety protocols. **Leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team. ** Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans. **Proficiency in project management software and tools. ** Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions. **Valid Class 5 or greater Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites is required**
