**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following**:

- Maintaining physical inventories and performing daily and weekly cycle counts and reconciliations
- Performing all functions for maintaining inventory accuracy; investigating and reporting discrepancies where required both physically and in the system records
- Keeping appropriate records and reports to ensure tight inventory control and security are maintained
- Operating a reach lift to sort, move, locate, relocate, stack, restack and count materials
- Participate in any customer and internal year end physical inventory & audit counts
- Maintain accountability for the safe and efficient operation of the lift trucks and comply with all applicable safety rules and SOPs
- Comply with all food safety regulations outlined by the Quality Department for all raw materials and finished goods
- Work with the Replenishment Team to ensure appropriate inventory levels are available for production.
- Efficiently stacking and storing merchandise in appropriate areas
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work area including the cooler and freezer
- Ensure that operations are conducted in a manner that promotes health and safety
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards
- Participate in special projects/assignments when needed
- Identify and report discrepancies and report to Team Leader immediately
- Provide management with inventory updates during daily meetings
- Update stock location slots in system, to ensure items are easily located by plant staff.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Reach truck certification required, experience with double deep reach (Raymond and Yale) an asset
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- 1-3 years of inventory control experience in warehouse environment, experience in a food manufacturing setting is an asset
- Good computer skills and experience using a barcode scanner
- Strong attention detail and demonstrate high level of accuracy in tasks
- Basic Excel skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and HACCP program
- Flexible and adaptable in a complex, changing environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to read, write, perform basic arithmetic and computer skills
- Able to lift/carry/push/pull and or stack boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Willingness to work in variable temperature environments (hot and cold)
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends and potentially holidays as required
