About the Role
We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join our Inventory Management team. The Demand Planning Manager develops statistical baseline forecasts using market trend analysis, historical data and customer behavior in order to drive optimal inventory levels which support Ontario’s eCommerce and retail networks. In this role, you will be responsible for portfolio level analytics, including postmortem analysis to assess performance and risk.
About Your Day
- Oversee and manage the implementation, optimization and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of internal data within the demand planning system and in Power BI reports
- Identify opportunities for system optimization process improvements and staying updated on industry best practices to enhance the effectiveness of demand planning
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Lead business processes and systems that allow for effective and efficient demand forecast processes
- Work cross-functionally to ensure strategic initiatives and tactical plans are incorporated into the forecasting process
- Deliver insights into root causes of forecast errors and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure Subject Matter Expert (SME) collaboration with cross functional partners on internal improvements/initiatives and special projects
- Support and lead Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system improvements in

Act as First line of contact supporting, guiding, and training end users on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Plan and contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing for relevant system enhancements and data reports
- Establish open and transparent communication channels with Licensed Producers (LPs)
- Communicate forecast and delivery expectations and address concerns promptly
- Establish and cultivate strategic relationships with suppliers and external customers
- Hold challenging and respectful conversations with the vendor community to address issued related to delivery timelines, product recovery or forecasting concerns as needed
- Schedule and lead regular touch points with Licensed Producers (LPs) to ensure the OCS continues to build strong collaborative relationships that align with the OCS values and standards

About You
- Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain, Demand Planning or a related field AND/OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Engineering
- Experience managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience in retail supply chain and/or retail vendor management is an asset
- Completion of one or more professional supply chain certification(s): Ex. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Retail Supply Chain Certification Program (RSCC), Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) is an asset
- A highly motivated, self-starter with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with a strong bias for action.

About the Job
- This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. The current in office requirement is a minimum of 3 days/week (may be more depending on business needs). The OCS office is located near York Mills and Yonge Street. However, OCS reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.
