**Position Overview**:
Swish Maintenance Limited is currently looking for a Commercial Service Technician. The role of the Service Technician is to maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring timely equipment service including but not limited to emergency repairs, planned maintenance, pre-and post-delivery inspections, training and general customer service as it pertains to equipment service.

**Location**: Whitby, Ontario

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Servicing and repairing industrial and commercial equipment (small motors) including electrical problems in house and on-site
- Involved with inventory control of replacement parts and equipment
- Proactive for care, maintenance, stocking and general housekeeping of service van
- Responsible to complete all scheduled service calls based on service procedures
- Assist with any Industrial equipment demonstrations/rentals required by sales, staff, management or customers
- Accountable for hours and paperwork spent on outside or in house service calls
- Participate in reducing customer down time through Planned Maintenance Agreement sales
- May be required to perform after hours’/weekend emergency Industrial Service repairs
- Must be able to travel to customer locations, primarily across the Greater Toronto Area

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- Class A Mechanic License preferred, or equivalent experience
- Commercial level of acquired technical/mechanical knowledge such as small engine, millwright or automotive technician/mechanic.
- Good organizational skills and clerical abilities as you will be responsible for maintaining a fully stocked parts department.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, staff and suppliers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Motor skills to operate computer, custom software, phones, debit and interac machines
- Clean Drivers’ abstract

**Education**:

- Minimum High School Diploma
