Victoria, Canada Oak Bay Beach Hotel Full time

**Facilities Attendant**

The Facilities Department of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel takes care of the property from the seashore to the sidewalk. This role requires the individual to work four 10-hour shifts per week. The position involves, but is not limited to, the following duties:
**Responsibilities**:

- General maintenance of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel
- Maintaining the spa pools
- Assisting guests with in-room maintenance issues or questions
- Cleanliness of the property
- Small projects and repair work
- Completion of other maintenance projects as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience with hand and power tools required
- Comfortable with power equipment such as pressure washers
- Prior experience with painting and drywall repair is an asset
- Pool management course or ability to complete this qualification
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Days and weekend shifts

**Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)**:

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs
- Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
