**All Seniors Care Living Centres, a leader in senior care, is hiring a Grant Specialist.**

A Grant Specialist is a professional who will work with all levels of government, agencies and other organizations to secure funding for projects or initiatives within the retirement home sector.

**Research Funding Opportunities**
- Identify potential sources of funding that align with our goals and objectives
- Be a leader in knowledge of grant opportunities from all levels of government agencies and foundations across Canada.

**Proposal Development**
- Craft compelling, well-organized and researched grant proposals that effectively communicate the purpose, goals and anticipated outcomes
- Clearly articulate the need for funding, the target audience of beneficiaries, the project’s potential impact.

**Budget Creation**
- In collaboration with our Executive Directors, Senior Managers and Accounting Team, develop detailed and realistic budgets that outline how the grant funds will be utilized and reported.
- Ensure the budget aligns with the goals of the project and meet the requirements of the funding opportunity.

**Collaboration and Communication**
- Communicate effectively with funders to seek clarification, provide additional information, or address any concerns they may have.

**Grant Compliance**
- Understand and adhere to the guidelines and requirements set by the funding organization.
- Ensure that all aspects of the proposal, including budgets and timelines, comply with the terms and conditions of the grant.

**Relationship Building**
- Cultivate relationships with funding organizations and program officers to enhance the likelihood of securing future grants.
- Maintain open communication channels to keep funders informed about project progress and outcomes.

**Grant Management**
- Assist in the implementation of funded projects by helping with reporting requirements, progress updates, and other documentation as specified by the grant agreement.
- Monitor deadlines for interim and final reports, ensuring the timely submission and completion.

**Continuous Learning**
- Stay updated on trends in grant writing, funding opportunities, and changes in regulations or requirements that may impact the grant-seeking process.

**Detailed Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or certification in related field
- High proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and
- Demonstrated Excellence in writing and ability to plan for, and meet, multiple competing deadlines
- Experience in working with Grants and Request for Proposals
- Experience working with Communications and Marketing in support of Grant Requirements
- Excellence in diplomacy, tack, strategy, execution, and trustworthiness
- Bilingual English/French an asset
