**Job Summary**:
The Corporate Development Analyst will support the President in the company's corporate development initiatives, with a key focus on evaluating and executing capital markets and strategic opportunities.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the industry, emerging technologies, business models, and overall strategic objectives
- Analyze strategic investment and commercial opportunities through financial modeling and the preparation of various presentation materials
- Support the execution of capital markets initiatives, including equity and debt transactions
- Support the development of Li-Metal’s Investor Relations and other corporate materials on an ongoing basis
- Support the analysis of competitive market data, researching competitor operating results and industry trends
- Support the economic analysis for product development through to commercialization of various R&D streams
- Aid in the formulation of commercial and partnership-focused business presentations, with a focus on opportunity and strategic fit with Li-Metal’s objectives
- Aid in developing new market initiatives, through assessing new markets and analyzing business opportunities
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Qualifications**:

- Completion of a Business, Finance, or similar Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of experience in corporate development, corporate finance, strategy consulting, or investment banking preferred; relevant internship or co-op experience also applicable
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, including a familiarity with valuation techniques and experience analyzing financial statements
- Past experience in the preparation of investor-focused presentation materials and a familiarity with public markets is preferred
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Consistently delivers quality work on time, with a strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, negotiation and creative problem-solving skills
- Exceptional oral communication, writing and editing skills
- Demonstrated interest in cleantech, electric vehicles or renewable energy a plus
