Positi on Synopsis and Purpose:
Under the general directi on of the Manager of Recreati on Faciliti es & Programs, the Arena Att endant (Part-Time) is involved in adiverse range of job acti viti es including assisti ng with ice maintenance, record keeping, general building repair, special event set upand take down, and custodial duti es. Overall, the Arena Att endant is responsible for assisti ng to ensure that all faciliti es andequipment are safe, ready for use, as well as effi ciently and eff ecti vely operated for the convenience and enjoyment of patrons andthe public.

Specifi cally, the Arena Att endant aids in day-to-day maintenance for corporate owned and/or operated faciliti es consistent withcorporate and department standard operati ng procedures. Assigned work locati ons may include the Joe Thornton Community Centreand Memorial Arena.
