We have created a fully integrated delivery system that utilizes the most advanced dispatch software, and bar-code scanning systems.

We are seeking an organized, self-motivated, **Dispatcher **to join our team in **Nanaimo, BC** You are self-described as someone with a positive attitude that possess the ability to manage high volumes of data to a great degree of detail and make sense of it in a quick pace environment.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensuring safety of the drivers, and customers/receivers;
- Planning, monitoring, tracking and supporting drivers on the road to ensure optimum delivery performance while maintaining efficient communication always.
- Proficient, clear, calm communication is essential;
- General management of KPI metrics;
- Escalate special cases/concerns to the Regional Managers/Operations Analyst;
- Maintain a clean and COVID friendly, safe work environment;
- Have a flexible weekly availability of at least 4 days
- Work Standards - Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.

**What you should already have**:

- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum experience in a similar role would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of emergency processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel with proven experience in data entry.
- Ability to work well under pressure.

**Shift Times**:

- Saturday - Wednesday (Morning & Afternoon Shift)
