Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Project Coordinator **to join our growing and ever-changing organization. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the PMO by providing coordination and administration for multiple corporate and departmental projects at Flair Airlines. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects are effectively communicated, monitored, and implemented. The Project Coordinator will support a portfolio of projects through all phases of the project life cycle.

The Project Coordinator will prepare and track project artifacts and documents (i.e. status reports, results tracking, project charters, dashboards, and stakeholder registers). The expectation is that there is a high emphasis on attention to detail and quality of documentation produced using a combination of experience, best practices, standards, and an approach that aligns with Flair PMO guidelines.

**Primary Job Functions**:

- Support and track cross-functional projects of varied sizes and types concurrently.
- Follows PMO framework and processes to deliver small projects.
- Assists and provides coordination and support to Project Managers.
- Utilizes the Management of Change (MOC) process to document projects based on the defined policy with an understanding of the Transport Canada requirements for MOC.
- Communicates project status to participants and stakeholders in writing as well as in formal presentations.
- Facilitate effective communication practices to provide project updates and limit time spent in meetings.
- Able to distill complex ideas into clear, concise communications and customize messages to audience.
- Particiapte in project execution and ensures the project follows established company project management methodologies and standards.
- Organizes meetings with various work teams to collect and disseminate project information, plan and schedule tasks and resources and generate timelines.
- Identifies and communicates any unresolved complex problems or possible timeline issues along with recommended actions for correction to Project Managers.
- Ensures project methodology, documents, and processes are followed.
- Able to work in any area of Flair’s business as the need arises.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Related post-secondary diploma or degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a project coordinator or similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of PMI project management best practices and standards.
- CAPM certification or desire to obtain CAPM certification.
- Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Teams or other schedule management and collaboration tools.
- Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology groups.
- Demonstrated aptitude to independently manage multiple objectives/tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with the ability to effectively lead project meetings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to identify problems and collaboratively develop alternatives for resolution.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, ever-changing work environment while prioritizing tasks and assignments effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Previous work experience in airline or airport operations is preferred.

**Secondary Job Functions**:

- Contribute to business process development, analysis, and best practice in order to improve resilience, performance levels and supportability;
- Keep abreast of technical developments of operational importance to the company, and participate in developing or setting standards as directed;

**Safety Duties, Accountabilities, Authorities, and Responsibilities**:

- Report proactive and reactive safety issues;
- Demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety and actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) program;
- Conduct assigned tasks and corrective actions; and
- Encourage active participation in the SMS for all personnel.
