We are looking for a **Coordinator - Product Handling **to lead the product handling crews to perform shift maintenance and operations activities safely and efficiently, delivering on productivity targets. The role is based in Labrador City, NL and working on a Monday to Friday schedule.

Reporting to the Loadout Superintendent and working in an exciting and unique environment within the Iron Ore Company of Canada, you will be:

- Coordinating the Structural Program; including amalgamation of all structural items
- Leading Maintenance and Asset Management Work Cycle
- Acting as Project Sponsor for Capex and Opex work and overseeing department improvement projects
- Ensuring personnel, equipment and work areas are in compliance with all safety policies and regulations by providing required training, tools and monitoring
- Developing and promoting a positive employee relations environment within the operations and maintenance crew
- Providing clear work objectives and expectations of the performance required to achieve safety and production and maintenance targets and minimize, identify and eliminate situations that could cause equipment damage
- Maximizing crew and employee performance and safety through training and coaching
- Filling-in for the Superintendent duties as necessary

**What you’ll bring**
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- High school diploma or equivalent and a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Five or more years of experience in a production or maintenance supervisory role, ideally in a unionized setting
- Knowledge of the various software of the Microsoft Office Suite. SAP Work Management skills are an asset
- Diploma of College Studies, Bachelor’s Degree, or Trade designation in a field related is an asset (i.e. mechanical, structural, etc.)
- Project management experience is an asset
- Excellent leadership approach to safety, team-building, and employee performance
- Effective communication and organizational skills
