Position:Solar Installation Technician
Location: Kitchener, ON
Salary Range: $21.00-$25.00

**OVERVIEW**

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Mechanical installation of solar PV systems-including racking, solar panels, ballast, electrical materials
- Installation, commissioning, and configuration of electronics control and monitoring systems
- Hands-on service, repair, and maintenance field worknts
- Uphold VCT’s standards of quality and professionalism
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50lbs and over on a frequent and repetitive basis.
- Contribute to day to day operations on the job site as directed

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in the construction industry
- Experience working with a variety of tools, manual labour
- Demonstrated attention to detail, customer care, and quality of work
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Current G class driver’s license

**ADITIONAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS THAT WOULD BE AN ASSET**:

- Experience with solar PV installations
- Forklift, first aid/CPR, and working at heights certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
