We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for an Outdoor Facilities Lead for our Energy Department at our Farms Leamington, ON location.

The Outdoor Facilities Lead oversees diverse outdoor facilities tasks, from coordinating snow clearing to optimizing cleanout trucking and hauling operations. Responsibilities include managing open field plowing, discing, and mowing, as well as overseeing farm semi-truck/trailer maintenance schedules. As a key player, the lead also handles wood trucking, grinding, and provides support with wood boilers, ensuring the efficient and effective management of outdoor facilities.

**Job Specific Duties**
- Transport wood and plant materials to/from various locations
- Load trucks with heavy equipment i.e. payloader, excavator
- Haul heavy equipment occasionally with flat deck trailer
- Operate heavy equipment to assist with projects
- Oversee all open field plowing, disking, mowing
- Assist in wood boiler room when required
- Work to create more efficient hauling garbage/plant materials
- Oversee all farm semitruck/trailer maintenance schedules
- Oversee all cleanout trucking across all locations
- Oversee all snow clearing duties across all locations
- Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.

**Qualifications**
- AZ License is required
- Clean Drivers Abstract required
- A heavy equipment safety course is an asset
- Reading, writing, oral communication and effective listening skills are essential job tools
- Basic, efficient math and literacy skills are required.
- Able to work well with mínimal supervision for most of the day.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential.
- Must display a respectful, and positive attitude and be a great team player.
- Common-sense, problem-solving skills and teamwork are essential
- Must have good communication skills and be attentive to detail
- Committed to continuous learning as every day presents new information and exciting challenges.
- Must be safety conscious at all times and follow all Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations

**Working Conditions**
- Working with heavy equipment
- Required to report to work Monday-Friday, rotational Saturdays. Afterhours, Sundays and some holidays may be required
- Driving, walking, sitting, crouching and standing throughout the day
- Working with mínimal supervision throughout the day
- Working in a wide array of cultures
- Some confidentiality with regards to company-related matters

**Physical Requirements**
- This is a physical position, standing, walking, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling throughout the day.
- Exposure to outdoor elements, high heat in the summer and cold/snow in the winter
