Estate Administration Clerk

Full-service law firm based in Kitchener, Ontario and serving clients throughout Ontario. We have maintained our reputation as specialists in a number of areas of the law, including real estate, corporate commercial and estates. We require an individual with a general background and experience in Estate Administration to join a busy practice.
**This is a hybrid position, 2 days working from home and 3 days in the Kitchener office.**
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Preparing estate accounting in court form for contentious and non-contentious passings of accounts
- Compiling informal estate accounting and releases for interim and final distribution of estate assets
- Calculating estate trustee and attorney compensation
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience.
- Strong computer knowledge in the following programs: Office365, Estateably and LEAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, lawyers and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment occasionally under tight timelines.
- Must be organized, and meticulous with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Possess a strong aptitude for working with numbers.
- Successful completion of a related post-secondary education program is required.
