The purpose of this role includes but is not limited to provide safety requirements for staff and contractors, arrange maintenance for mobile equipment, handle materials management, order consumables as necessary, and assist with new employee orientation and customers visiting.

**Key Areas of responsibilities**:
**Safety**
- Organize transportation to hospital in case of an emergency
- Fill in WCB forms
- Providefirst aid as required(must be level 2)
- Record all first aid incidents
- Participate in accident investigations
- Maintain first aid supplies and providerespirator fit testing
- Organize safety training for employees
- Provideadministrative functions for safety training
- Organize quarterly internal inspections of rigging and fall protection gear
- Organize annual fire extinguisher inspections
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and record notes,
- Print meeting notes and post for employee review on kitchen cabinet
- Follow up on all safety meeting task items
- Manage safety incident response (use radios), muster station count
- Record results of incident response
- Interface with black tusk for fire monitoring/ organize inspection/ maintenance/ repair
- Interface with security company (be on call for incident)
- Control access and locks for office

Equipment inspection and training
- Issue purchase orders for new tools and equipment / expedite/ logistics
- Set up preventative maintenance schedules in Asset Panda
- Order MRO parts/ consumablesfor tools and equipment
- File original equipment manuals in filing cabinets
- Record maintenance activities performed daily
- Organize third party annual inspections of mobile equipment/ keep records
- Organize calibration of instruments / keep calibration records/ tags
- Organize tool / equipment rentals and ensure returned
- Control keys for all mobile equipment.
- Ensure / record daily inspections for all mobile and lifting equipment
- Ensure only trained persons can operateequipment
- Organize safety training for equipment and keep log book.
- Control keys for fuel fill up and ensure quantities recorded
- Control gas credit cards and enter receipts
- Control credit card for dump runs and enter receipts
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean

**Materials and Waste Management**
- Manage vendor for cardboard/ plastic/ glass/ paper recycling
- Manage garbage vendor
- Manage vendor for metal recycling
- Organize dump runs as required
- Manage vendor for cleaning of offices
- Organize TDG for hazardous materials
- Ensure all materials brought on site have SDS
- Provide SDS labels for decanted fluids
- Maintain and order all office / washroom supplies for both offices.

**New hires**
- Interface with HR to ensure new hires / contractors have all paperwork filled out
- Organize PPE for new hires

**Customer Management**
- Greet new customers when they come to the shop
- Organize for their PPE and get it returned
- Provide 5 minuteCSI site orientation training video
- Explain muster station locations and hazards of the facility (review map)
- Have them sign forms
- Make coffee / tea for guests/ safety training persons
- Organize lunches for guests

**Qualifications, Core Competencies, Skills and Abilities**
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and be highly motivated/proactive
- A high degree of organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills communicating with tradespersons to plan maintenance and order consumables as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze and interpret new information and situations effectively
- A drive to meet or exceed deadlines through meticulous planning and multi-tasking
- Knowledge and experience with ERP software and be proficient with MS Excel
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and manage time effectively

**Required Education & Training**:

- First Aid & CPR Level 2
- Post Secondary education involving administration and/or planning and implementing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
