**About Us**

As part of the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services, Digital Health provides quality information to health professionals, the public, researchers, and health system decision makers. Through collaboration with the health system, we support the development of data and technical standards, maintain key health databases, carry out analytics and evaluation, and support health research. We support healthcare within Newfoundland and Labrador, including patients and communities through the delivery of information technology (IT) and digital health services applied in the healthcare system to provide quality care. Our mandate includes the development and implementation of a confidential and secure provincial electronic health record as well as other provincial clinical information programs, including the change management required to support adoption by end user clinicians.

**About the Role**

**Virtual Care Program**

Since 2005, Virtual Care has helped increase access to healthcare services for residents across Newfoundland and Labrador. The technology allows patients, family, and other healthcare providers, to consult with clinician(s) from across the province or other provinces while remaining within their communities - saving time, money and increasing access to much needed care. Much of the provincial virtual care activity is centrally scheduled by NLHS Digital Health to include telehealth/virtual care appointments, urgent consultations, and other related activity.

We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Telehealth Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Provincial Program Manager, Virtual Care you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

- Coordination and oversight for the scheduling of virtual care activity.
- Point of contact for NLHS virtual care stakeholders and liaison for virtual care within Digital Health.
- Ensure consistent and timely entry of appointments, which include but not limited to Oncology, Surgery, Mental Health etc., by coordinating with sites to ensure acceptance and support for appointment(s).
- Coordination of Out of Province video conferences with University Health Network, OSI, etc., which includes video conferences hardware/software, consent forms, healthcare provider support if required, etc.
- Coordinates with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NL (CPSN) to ensure licensure and credentialing is in place for health care providers, and if it is not, take the necessary steps to ensure that the process is initiated.
- Manages user accounts, ensuring accurate and up to date information.
- Reporting and facilitating technical support for bugs and system errors.
- Coordinate change requests, change windows and testing to ensure systems operational.
- Monitor and develop monthly virtual care reports for each zone.
- Assist with the development of workflow documentation for existing and new scheduling practices.
- Assist in the development of Virtual Care Program documentation.

**About You**

Your education and experience include:

- A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, or a Health-Related Discipline.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the health care environment.
