The Team Leader of Media Production will lead the creative process for the Media Team. They will use the Marketing Calendar to give creative direction for the design of media assets for campaigns. They will oversee the execution of the media outputs to ensure that the message is in line with Princess Auto Brand Standards and Quality Guidelines. Assists in the development of the Princess Auto visual identity and education material to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Please note: This position is an on-site role, based in our beautiful Home Office, which is located at 475 Panet Road, in Winnipeg._

**TEAM EXECUTION**
- Leads a team of videographers, photographers and editors in the planning and production of audio and visual assets for campaigns and product content in alignment with brand standards and production deadlines
- Maintains equipment and studio, recommends upgrades as necessary
- Scouts appropriate locations and talent for on location shoots and audio production
- Reviews media assets to ensure that the Visual Identity standards and quality guidelines have been met
- Supports Media Team Members in creation and maintenance of media training material related to software and process
- Makes recommendations to the process and standards as we develop new capabilities
- Resolves questions around creative requests on behalf of the Media Team
- Determines which projects are sent to external vendors based on available resources and coordinates with 3rd party vendors
- Leads peer reviews of campaigns
- Participates in Campaign Kick-off meetings and provides creative direction****:

- Trains Media Team about the Princess Auto Brand Standards and Quality Guidelines

***PLANNING & STRATEGY**
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to:

- Plan the annual Marketing Calendar & Budget
- Execute the annual Marketing Calendar
- Ensure that all campaign and internal audio/visual media production is executed in accordance with the Marketing Calendar and Production Schedule
- Develop photo, video and audio standards for media assets
- Document and improve processes related to the production and performance of media outputs

**LEADERSHIP**
- Provides training and coaching to Team Members on daily tasks and performance
- Promotes the growth and development of Team Members
- Supports and promotes a team environment

**What tools do you need in your toolbox?**
- 5+ years’ experience in media production
- Post-secondary education in media production and/or creative communications (is an asset)
- Knowledgeable about all aspects of sound, lighting, cameras
- Knowledgeable about modern digital media production, equipment, processes, and distribution
- Strong sense of aesthetics and composition
- Post-production experience with digital asset management
- Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to manage, drive and support change
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized; attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Strong judgment and decision making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
