- Days- 7.5 hours per shift**WAGE RATE**:
- Scale Minimum Maximum- OPSE16 $47.89/hr $62.62/hr**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- The purpose of the Clinical Informatics - Pharmacy is to provide the services of a licensed pharmacist to lead and participate in acute, ambulatory and clinic medical managmenet planning, development, implementation, training, evaluation of use, and optimization of pharmacy information systems to support Electronic Medication Administration and Computerization Physician Order Entry
- Assist in overall implementation and long-term maintenance & optimization activities
- Collaborate closely with and communicates between IS CHAMP support team and the CHAMP partner organization pharmacy and clinical staff and leaders to align pharmacy system features and functionality with daily workflows and long term strategic objectives of the electronic patient record
- Work collaboratively with other team members within QCH and regional CHAMP partner organizations to evolve and support electronic patient record initiatives
- Demonstrate the QCH values of respect, collaboration, accountability and innovation
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Graduate of a recognized Faculty of Pharmacy and hold a minimum Bachelor's Degree of Science in Pharmacy or Entry Level PharmD
- Licensed with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Minimum of five (5) years clinical/patient care pharmacist experience
- Strong project management, quality improvement, and change management skills
- Requires sound oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks with multiple clients under tight deadlines
**PREFERRED**:
- Previous experience with pharmacy automation
- Experience with Numara TrackIt
- Experience in workflow and process redesign
