**Position Summary**

Black Gold is seeking an Emergency Response Administrator who is a motivated professional and eager to join an exciting company that has demonstrated continuous growth. This highly organized individual must have good computer software knowledge and expertise. Post secondary education or an equivalent technical diploma would be an asset.

Salary will be based on experience with the potential for a performance-based bonus.

**The key responsibilities of the Emergency Response Administrator will be as follows**:

- Assist with the development of Corporate, Pipeline/Facility, and Drilling/Completions Emergency Response Plans.
- Liaise with appropriate Government agencies to coordinate ERP roles and responsibilities.
- Complete AER, BCER, CER and /or Saskatchewan MER submissions.
- Prepare for, attend, and complete action items for weekly staff meetings.
- Help develop Public Awareness Programs.
- Maintain telephone lists by making confirmation phone calls - must be able to speak clearly and concisely.
- Maintain client stakeholder databases.
- Update and track client Emergency Response Plans as required.
- Preparing and modifying documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, etc.
- Handle requests for information and data / information gathering and information monitoring.
- Set up and printing of documents, manuals and maps.
- Bulk mail outs.
- Preparing packages for distribution (couriers and Canada post).
- Support and assist in client training for simulated emergency exercises.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have strong computer skills with a background in Microsoft Office Suite and strong telephone communication skills.
- Must pay extensive attention to detail and demonstrate a high level of accuracy.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have problem assessment and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work both as a member of a team and individually.
- Should have knowledge of Government Regulations (familiar with AER D56, D60 and D71; BCER Emergency Management Regulation; Sask MER Regulations) and CER regulations.
- Should have an understanding of the legal land system.
- ICS certification, as well as a high level of expertise in dealing with oil and gas operations would be an asset.
- Diploma from an Emergency Management (EMGT) Program would be an asset.
