Sovereign Dental is growing, building a brand new, state of the art facility and looking to fill positions who are true team players. We are hiring for a Full-Time permanent Level II Dental Assistant that is experienced and contributes to the positive culture at Sovereign Dental. Our team also works in a specialized Pediatric Dentistry environment where customer service and patient care are our primary focus. We offer full benefits and competitive pay relative to experience.

**Education and Qualification**
- Completion of a Certified Dental Assistant training program is preferred.
- HARP Certification is mandatory.

**Job description**
- Assisting with dental procedures such as restorations, endos, crowns, implants, stainless steel crowns and extractions to mentions a few.
- Taking & pouring up dental impressions
- Preparing patients for dental surgery
- Sterilizing instruments following strict IPAC guidelines
- Operating equipment and monitors
- Communicating with patients with regards to treatment options and financial considerations
- Performing administrative tasks
- Preparing examination areas
- Cleaning up and disinfecting the operatory after procedures

**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of advanced dental procedures to anticipate the order of operations
- Ability to take good X-rays, dental impressions, and blood pressure readings
- Knowledge of dental materials and maintaining equipment
