**Job Summary**:
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Coordinator role at CCMB is an important corporate services position that provides leadership within the organization to identify, report, and coordinate all organizational risk, (including clinical delivery risk, operational risk, physical security risk, etc.). The ERM Coordinator is then responsible for assisting the organization in taking steps to mitigate organizational risk in order to ensure the continued operations for CCMB.

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and Environment, the ERM Coordinator will work with departmental and clinical leadership and be responsible for coordinating and reporting on tasks, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will develop documentation necessary to complete threat/risk analysis, in order to identify, assess and prepare for organizational risks (e.g. organizational level challenges including dangers, hazards and other potentials for harm).

This position has responsibility to manage CCMB’s corporate risk management program, contribute to disaster-management planning, and correspond with partner organizations and interjurisdictional partners in assessing and reporting on organizational risk. This includes maintenance and updating of the integrated risk management system.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Department of Environment (Infrastructure), and will additionally coordinate with the Department of Quality and Patient Safety, to help the organization achieve the mission and vision of CancerCare Manitoba.

**Qualifications**:
**_Required:_**
- Post-secondary education (Bachelor degree) in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an institutional environment where compliance with corporate standards is regularly monitored and reported to senior management
- The ability to work independently and interact with all levels within the organization, and with external stakeholders.
- Must hold a satisfactory employment record
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
- Will be assessed during the interview process _
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus work-related activities to effectively and efficiently achieve goals and produce expected results/outcomes
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and reliably
- Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and cooperation, organizational, and customer service skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to assess and solve complex problems
- Experience with leadership and collaborating as a member of a team, to achieve a defined organizational objective within a defined delivery timeline
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement
- Proven knowledge and ability in critical thinking, decision-making, project planning and management, problem-solving, crisis management and conflict resolution skills

**_Asset:_**
- Successful completion of disaster/emergency management course(s).
- Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation or equivalent.
- Experience in risk management processes including coordinating the management of risk within an organization which encompasses performing the following activities:

- Organizational level risk assessment
- Organizational level risk identification
- Organizational level qualitative and quantitative risk analysis
- Organizational level risk evaluation
- Organizational level risk treatment
- Working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS)
- Project management experience and knowledge of project management practice.
- Previous experience in a health care setting, or government
- Ability to speak French
